Q:  How do I receive The Citizen newsletter?
A:The Citizen is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service to all Arlington resident households the first week, every other month beginning in January. If you are not receiving it, please let us know at
publicaffairs (at) arlingtonva.us, or 703.228.3969. 
You can also view the online version of the Citizen anytime on the website.

Q:  How can I subscribe to the Arlington Insider e-newsletter?
A:  It’s simple! Just go to the subscription page, and sign up. You’ll need to give us your email address. Shortly after you subscribe, you’ll receive a “confirmation” email and you will need to follow the instructions to complete your registration.  Soon, you’ll begin receive all sorts of timely information, tips, events and more!

Q: How can I learn more about the big issues of the day in Arlington
A:  You have many options. We work hard to keep all our communications “products” up to date and timely. So at any time, you should find the most current information on:

  • County Web site, www.arlingtonva.us – this is where you will always find the most up-to-date information available.
  • AVN74, the County’s cable channel, which you can also watch live via the County’s Web site.
  • News releases – a free subscription is available.
  • Arlington Insider, a free, biweekly e-newsletter that is delivered to your email box.
  • Arlington Alert, a free service that sends text messages to your mobile devices during an emergency. Visit www.arlingtonalert.com.
  • And, tune to 1700AM Arlington, our 24/7 emergency radio station.
