The Facilities Maintenance Bureau strives to provide high quality maintenance and repair services with in-house and contracted staff to over 90 county facilities, so they are safe, functional, comfortable and energy efficient for employees and citizens.
The Print Shop and Mail Room provides high quality printing and copying, graphic design, and bindery services to all County agencies. This group also distributes mail for the County and conducts records management.
The Custodial Bureau manages custodial and cleaning services in all County facilties.
The Equipment Bureau procures, maintains and disposes of the County’s and School’s diversified municipal vehicle fleets. The Bureau operates three re-fueling sites in the county providing Regular Unleaded Gasoline, and Bio-diesel alternative fuels to approximately 1148 vehicles. The Bureau normally operates on two shifts from 6:00am to 11:30 pm, but mobilizes into a 24/7 operation during emergencies.
