WIC provides services for women, infants & children up to five years old who are at nutritional risk and have low income. Services include:
- Supplemental food
- Nutrition counseling and education
- Breastfeeding support
- Immunization screening
- Referrals to health and social services
- Electric breast pumps available on loan to WIC breastfeeding women
Eligibility
- Resident of Virginia
- Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding within one year of delivery, or non-breastfeeding within 6 months of delivery
- Infants and children up to five years

NOTES:
- A person receiving standard Medicaid, FAMIS MOMS, Food Stamps, free or reduced school lunch or TANF automatically meets the income eligibility requirement and should bring the enrollment card
- A person receiving FAMIS must bring proof of income
