
Clarendon House is a community-based rehabilitation program. The program promotes the highest level of community integration and independence for adults diagnosed with serious mental illness. The program seeks to prevent psychiatric hospitalization by providing a complete array of services to clients. These services include: psychosocial rehabilitation, case management, vocational opportunities, crisis intervention, medication services, and social opportunities.
The program operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

![]() Lunch is prepared by members and staff daily. Members and staff work together to plan, shop for, and prepare the meals. Building relationships is a key factor in the success of the rehabilitation program. Members also have the opportunity to run the Clubhouse Cafe, the program's snack bar. |
The Friends of Clarendon House, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting the goals of Clarendon House. This group of concerned citizens takes a special interest in Clarendon House and its members and provides information and support to the residents of Arlington County regarding mental illness.
