iSupplier Registration & Responding To Bid Opportunities
1) iSupplier Registration
Arlington County, Virginia - Department of Management & Finance - Purchasing Division implemented a new supplier (bidder) registration system (iSupplier) on June 15, 2012. All suppliers (bidders) are required to register in iSupplier. Suppliers who do not reregister will no longer receive notices of solicitation (bid) opportunities until registered in iSupplier.

All current and potential suppliers, please REGISTER HERE. You only need to register once. (Note: if you receive an error message, please click your browser's refresh button).
What To Expect After You Register:
Arlington County Purchasing will review and approve your iSupplier Registration. Upon approval (no more than three business days), you will receive an email confirmation to the address provided in the iSupplier profile. The email will include your iSupplier login (which is your email address) and a temporary password. You will be required to reset your password using the temporary password. After you have created your permanent password, see iSupplier Profile Management instructions below.

2) iSupplier Profile Management
iSupplier will allow suppliers to select commodity code(s) that match the goods and/or services that they provide. iSupplier will send electronic notices of bid and solicitation opportunities to suppliers based on the commodity code(s) applicable to individual solicitations selected by the purchasing office.
- Log in to your iSupplier profile
- Once registered you will receive a User ID and temporary password. Suppliers will need to re-login to iSupplier to add commodity (category) codes and update iSupplier profile information. Please review these instructions regarding iSupplier Profile Management (PDF).
- United Nations Standard Product & Service Codes (UNSPSC): Arlington County has selected the UNSPSC commodity code structure to categorize goods and services for issuing solicitation notices. UNSPSC is a hierarchical structure with up to eight digit categories with two digit increments. Arlington County has chosen to register suppliers and send solicitation notices based on the four digit level. In addition, certain categories have been setup at a six digit level to better match commodity or service descriptions.

3) Respond to a Sourcing (electronic bidding) Event
Sourcing allows registered Suppliers (bidders) with Arlington County to be notified of Sourcing (bidding opportunities) Events electronically. Suppliers will be notified of Sourcing Events based on the commodity (category) codes they selected as part of iSupplier Profile Management (Step 2 above).

Supplier Training
Arlington County Purchasing Division will host training events on the following dates:
- Thursday, May 31, 2012 – 9:00 AM – 12:00 noon
- Friday, June 1, 2012 – 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday, June 27, 2012 – 9:00 AM – 12:00 noon
The training will cover the following:
- How to register in the new iSupplier registration system
- How to manage an iSupplier profile
- How to respond to sourcing (bidding) opportunities with Arlington County.
In addition, Arlington County Purchasing Professionals will be on hand to assist with iSupplier registration.
Meetings will be held at Court House Plaza – 2100 Clarendon Blvd. – on the third floor in the County Board Room – Arlington County, VA 22201. All prospective and current suppliers (bidders) are encouraged to attend.
