FY 2013 - FY 2022 Capital Improvement Plan

On Saturday, July 21, 2012 the County Board approved the FY2013 - FY2022 CIP, totaling $2.4 billion over the next ten years. Arlington Public Schools adopted its $438 million CIP in June, bringing the planned CIP investment for both County and Schools to $2.9 billion.  Also approved with the CIP was the 2012 Bond Referenda Questions and Answers.  On November 6, a total of $153 million will be requested of the voters in four separate questions.  Below is the presentation to the County Board.

Prior Capital Improvement Programs

 


 

Adopted FY 2011 - FY 2016 Capital Improvement Program

 

On June 15, 2010 the Arlington County Board adopted a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for fiscal year 2011 to 2016, totaling $1.2 billion for the County and Arlington Public Schools.  The approved plan includes $102.8 million of new bonds on the 2010 referenda for Arlington County Public Schools, including funding for Wakefield High School. The Board reached consensus to move Wakefield’s rebuilding forward by two years; there will be significant cost savings by accelerating the project.


Adopted FY 2009-FY 2014 Capital Improvement Program

On July 22, 2008, the Arlington County Board approved the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2009-2014, totaling $1.3 billion.  The approved plan fully funds the bonds needed for the Arlington Public Schools on the construction schedule requested by the Schools
