REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2022-08030074, 1600 block of 18th Street N. At approximately 10:34 a.m. on August 3, police were dispatched to the report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside the stairwell of the residential building when she was approached by the unknown male suspect. The suspect asked the victim for money and when she refused, he pushed her before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries and decline the treatment of medics. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’7’, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a black shirt and black jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2022-08030162, 2400 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 4:12 p.m. on August 3, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect entered into the establishment, walked behind the counter and grabbed a tablet, during which the employee attempted to confront him. The suspect then verbally threatened the employee and implied he was carrying a weapon before fleeing the scene with the stolen tablet. The suspect is described as a Black male with an average build, clean shaven appearance, wearing black pants, a yellow and green shirt, and a brown hat. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2022-08030169, 2400 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 4:29 p.m. on August 3, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the victim was inside a business when she was approached by the unknown male suspect. The suspect pushed her from behind and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from her pocket. The victim confronted the suspect who exited the business and fled in a vehicle prior to the arrival of police. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male with an average height and build, mid-30s, wearing a green shirt, dark pants and black and white shoes. The suspect vehicle is described as a Dodge SUV. The investigation is ongoing.

GRAND LARCENY (Significant), 2022-08030122, 900 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 1:50 p.m. on August 3, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the reporting party was filling an ATM with money when the unknown suspect approached and stole a bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male in his late teens to early 20s with a slim build. He was wearing dark gray pants, a black long sleeve shirt and carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
