REPORTS
ARMED ROBBERY, 2022-05230238, 300 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 10:02 p.m. on May 23, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined the three victims were walking on the sidewalk when they were approached from behind by the unknown suspects. Suspect One brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property, including their clothing. During the incident, Suspect One struck the victims with the firearm, causing injury. The suspects then fled into a parking garage with the stolen property which included cash, clothing and electronics. Responding officers searched the garage with negative results. The victims were treated on scene by medics with one requiring transport to an area hospital with injuries described as serious but non-life threatening. Suspect One is described as a Black male in his 20’s, 5’7” tall and wearing a red baseball hat, glasses, purple/navy shirt and jeans. Suspect Two is described as heavy set Black male and wearing a white shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
