REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2022-05050168, 2400 block of S. Lowell Street. At approximately 5:16 p.m. on May 5, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined two suspects approached the juvenile victim, assaulted him and took several items of value from his backpack. A lookout for the suspects was broadcast and officers observed them in the area. The suspects attempted to flee and following a foot pursuit, they were taken into custody without incident. Adrian Herrera, 19, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with Robbery and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. The juvenile suspect was released to his guardian and petitions are pending.
BURGLARY, 2022-05050042, 5100 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 4:45 a.m. on May 5, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the business and tampered with a safe, however, no items were reported stolen. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
