REPORTS
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2022-11030055, 1900 block of Fort Myer Drive. At approximately 4:37 a.m. on November 3, police were dispatched to the report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown male suspect approached the female victim and attempted to engage her in conversation. When she refused, the suspect left the area. He soon returned and allegedly threw pieces of broken concrete at her, resulting in a laceration. She was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle and a canvass of the area by responding officers yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’6, 160 lbs., with short curly black hair, wearing a red jacket and gray jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2022-11020140, 2700 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 12:27 p.m. on November 2, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 11:56 a.m., the male suspect entered a business and selected merchandise with the assistance of an employee. The suspect then displayed a firearm, verbally threatened the employee and left the business with the stolen merchandise. The suspect then fled the area in a vehicle, during which he struck a parked vehicle. A lookout was broadcast and officers canvassed the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male with a slim build, long dreadlocks and a beard, approximately 20-30 years old, 5’8”-5’10”, wearing a jacket, white shirt, black pants, and a black mask. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
