Police Seek Assistance Identifying Malicious Wounding Suspect

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Arlington County Police Department's Homicide/Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance identifying and locating a malicious wounding suspect who was captured in surveillance images.
At approximately 2:45 a.m. on September 25, police were dispatched to the 500 block of 23rd Street S. for the report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim who was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries considered serious but non-life threatening. The investigation determined the victim and an unknown male suspect had been involved in a verbal dispute, during which the suspect assaulted the victim, stole his jewelry and broke his phone.
The suspect is described as a Black male, about 6’2”, 160 lbs, approximately 25 years old, wearing a hat, black jacket, bandana, white shirt, black jeans, and dark colored shoes.
