Signing up for Arlington's emergency alert system also means sending support to others in November.

By enrolling at emergency.arlingtonva.us/ezalerts this month, you'll also get to direct a special gift to a favorite "Subscribe and Serve" organization in the County:

  • A can of food to Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC)

  • A box of crayons to Arlington Public Schools (APS)

  • A pair of socks to Arlington Street People's Assistance Network (A-SPAN)

  • A can of pet food to Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA)

Donations will be purchased through a generous grant by Arlington Community Federal Credit Union.

Arlington Alert is a critical County service that helps keep residents safe during emergencies. Messages are carefully crafted to provide the right information and not an overload. Sign-up requires only a few keystrokes and clicks.

And in November, helping yourself by enrolling in Arlington Alert also means helping your community.
