REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2017-06020044, Columbia Pike at S. Rolfe Street. At approximately 3:06 a.m. on June 1, officers responded to the report of a malicious wounding. Upon arrival, it was determined that following a physical struggle between a male victim and an unknown male suspect the male victim suffered a laceration. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to George Washington University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A helicopter search was conducted with negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's, approximately 5'3" tall and was wearing a striped shirt and jeans.
