REPORTS
UNLAWFUL WOUNDING, 2018-06280024, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 2:20 a.m. on June 28, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect had exited a taxi and was involved in a verbal argument with the driver over the fare. When a witness intervened, the suspect allegedly became aggressive and struck the witness in the face. The victim did not require medical treatment. Responding officers canvased the area and located the suspect. Oscar Castillo, 32, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with Unlawful Wounding and Drunk in Public.
BURGLARY, 2018-06280212, 100 block of N. Wayne Street. At approximately 6:34 p.m. on June 28, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival it was determined that between 7:25 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence and stole cash. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
