REPORTS


RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE, 2018-10260275, 200 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 11:40 p.m. on October 26, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered a business twice prior and purchased merchandise, before exiting and returning to his vehicle outside. He returned a third time, began causing a disturbance inside the business, damaging displays, and took merchandise and coins and placed them into his pockets. The suspect then went behind the counter and attempted to steal contents from a drawer, however, arriving officers were able to stop the suspect and took him into custody without incident. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle the suspect was operating was previously reported stolen out of Arlington County. Saadiq Muhammad, 23, of Washington, D.C. was arrested and charged wth Grand Larceny: Motor Vehicle Theft, Petit Larceny, and Destruction of Property.

BURGLARY, 2018-10280043, 900 block of N. Wayne Street. At approximately 1:58 a.m. on October 28, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined that following a dispute that took place earlier in the evening between the victim and a known suspect, the suspect forced entry to the victim's residence and stole items of value. Stephen Miller, 35, of Hatfield, Pa., was arrested and charged with Burglary and Destruction of Property.

LARCENY, 2018-10260205, 4300 block of Old Dominion Drive. At approximately 7:02 p.m. on October 26, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny from auto. Upon arrival, it was determined that between October 21 and October 24, an unknown suspect(s) stole the tires and rims off of a vehicle. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
