REPORTS


SEXUAL BATTERY (late), 2019-07310284, Military Road at 31st Street N. At approximately 11:32 p.m. on July 31, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 9:45 p.m., the female victim was walking in the area when she was approached by an unknown male suspect who attempted to engage her in conversation. When the victim ignored the suspect and began walking away, the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks. The suspect is described as a white male with short, dark hair, wearing a gray shirt and red shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2019-07310229, 5100 block of 8th Street S. At approximately 7:26 p.m. on July 31, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on July 31, an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a residence, tampered with items and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
