REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2019-08110053, 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 2:54 a.m. on August 11, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute between known individuals. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from lacerations and immediately began performing life saving measures. He was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Jeffrey Melendez, 30, of Arlington, VA was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. He is being held on no bond.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2019-08100039, Unit block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 3:06 a.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that a verbal dispute between individuals in the drive thru of a restaurant escalated to physical violence when the suspects assaulted the victim. Medics treated the victim on scene for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled prior to police arrival. Suspect One is described as a black male, approximately 6'0", with a skinny build. He was wearing a green jacket and black pants at the time of the incident. Suspect Two is described as a black male, 5'10" with a skinny build. He was wearing a black jacket and black hoodie at the time of the incidents. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2019-08080221, 1700 block of Crystal Drive. At approximately 4:09 p.m. on August 8, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that during an employment dispute, the suspect allegedly threw an item at the victim and threatened to physically harm him unless he received payment. The suspect fled the scene after receiving a check. The victim was not injured during the incident. Jeremy Snell, 32, of Lexington Park, MD was charged with robbery and larceny of a check.

ROBBERY, 2019-08100078, 2000 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 8:47 a.m.on August 10, officers on patrol were flagged down by an employee of a business who reported a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, the officers observed two suspects fleeing from the scene and initiated a foot pursuit. One suspect was taken into custody. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the two suspects entered the business, allegedly went behind the counter, threatened the employees before stealing cash and merchandise. Deonte Johnson, 29, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Robbery, Identity Theft, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, Possession of Burglarious Tools, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Obstruction of Justice. He was held on no bond. The outstanding suspect is described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt, blue baseball hat, blue shorts and sneakers.

ROBBERY, 2019-08100207, 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 8:58 p.m. on August 10, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two unknown males. The suspects assaulted the victim before stealing his personal property. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. Both suspects are described as a black males in their teens, black hair, brown eyes, 5'10" with an average build.

ROBBERY, 2019-08110135, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 2:54 p.m. on August 11, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect entered the business, went behind the counter, threatened an employee and stole merchandise. The suspect is described as a black male in his 40's, black hair, approximately 5'8" — 5'10" with a medium build. He was wearing a white shirt and gray shorts at the time of the incident.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2019-08100018, 800 block of N. Jackson Street. At approximately 1:03 a.m. on August 10, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in process. Upon arrival, it was determined that when the victims entered the residence, they observed an unknown male suspect inside. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. No items were reported stolen. The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair, 20-30 year's old and 6'0" tall.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2019-08090111, 1800 block of N. Highland Street. At approximately 9:52 a.m. on August 9, police were dispatched to the report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that the reporting party located an open garage door and window. No items were reported stolen. There are no suspect(s) descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO, 2019-08100091, 1900 block of Fort Myer Drive. At approximately 10:28 a.m. on August 10, police were dispatched to a larceny from auto. Upon arrival, it was determined that three vehicles had their windows smashed and items of value stolen from inside. There are no suspect(s) descriptions. The investigation is ongoing.
