REPORTS

ARMED ROBBERY, 2019-122302347, Unit block of S. Carlin Springs Road. At approximately 10:03 p.m. on December 23, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery that just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that two unknown suspects entered a business, Suspect One then approached an employee, brandished a firearm and demanded cash before both suspects fled the scene on foot. Suspect One is described as a thin black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a black mask. Suspect Two is described as a thin black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, green jacket and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2019-12250074, 4200 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 6:00 p.m. on December 25, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect was observed allegedly concealing merchandise from a business. When approached by an employee of the business, the suspect produced a bottle of pepper spray and sprayed the employee. The employee tackled the suspect and detained him until police arrived on scene. Patrick Riley, 54, of Washington D.C. was arrested and charged with Robbery and Malicious Wounding by Caustic Agent. He is being held without bond.

BURGLARY (late), 2019-12250069, 1000 block of N. Fillmore Street. At approximately 5:06 p.m. on  December 25, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 12:40 a.m. an unknown suspect forced entry into a business and stole cash before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 50 — 60 years old, 6'0" tall and approximately 200 lbs. He was wearing a green hoodie, jeans, and black gloves at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
