REPORTS
BRANDISHING, 2019-12270102, 2400 block of S. Oakland Street. At approximately 11:58 a.m. on December 27, police were dispatched to the report of a brandishing. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim was at his vehicle when the known male suspect approached him and they became engaged in a verbal dispute. The parties separated and the suspect later approached a residence the victim was inside, made threats towards him, and allegedly brandished a firearm. Warrants for Brandishing a Firearm and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm were obtained for the suspect.
ROBBERY, 2019-12270010, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 1:02 a.m. on December 27, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim left a business and was entering a parking garage when the unknown male suspect approached him from behind and assaulted him. The suspect stole the victim's phone and fled prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries. The victim described the suspect as a male, possibly South American, with a slightly bigger stature, wearing a light colored sweater. The investigation is ongoing.
PEEPING, 2019-12270055, 3800 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on December 27, police were dispatched to the report of a peeping. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside her residence when she heard noise outside her window and observed the male suspect. The victim yelled at the suspect, prompting him to flee prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a black male, over six feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and black sweat pants. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY (series), 2019-12270084/12270078, 1700 block of N. Troy Street/1700 block of N. Rhodes Street. At approximately 8:51 a.m. on December 27, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect(s) stole the tires and rims from two vehicles overnight. There are no suspect(s) descriptions The investigation is ongoing.
