REPORTS


STOLEN PROPERTY (Significant), 2019-05300096, 1500 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 10:49 a.m. on May 30, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival of officers, the call for service was canceled after loss prevention personnel observed the suspect replacing items he had allegedly previously concealed. Officers made contact with the suspect who provided incorrect information regarding his identity. With the assistance of additional law enforcement resources, officers identified the suspect and determined him to be wanted out of Alexandria, Va. During a search incident to arrest, the suspect was determined to be in possession of stolen property from a prior larceny from auto, as well as a vehicle key that was later determined to belong to a vehicle previously reported stolen out of Alexandria. The stolen vehicle was subsequently located parked in a nearby garage. Kyree Hill, 22, of Oxon Hill, Md., was arrested and charged with Buying/Receiving Stolen Goods, Possession of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance and Giving False Identity to Law Enforcement, Fugitive from Justice — Felony and Fugitive from Justice — Misdemeanor. He was held on no bond.
