REPORTS
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY-VEHICLE (Series), 2020-02120286, Fort Scott Drive at 26
th Road S. At approximately 10:42 p.m. on February 12, police were dispatched to the report of a possible destruction of property. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown suspect broke the mirrors on three vehicles and the windshield on two additional vehicles. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicles. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as tall, wearing black and riding a bicycle. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2020-02130009, N. Westmoreland Street at Fairfax Drive. At approximately 12:29 a.m. on February 13, police were dispatched to the report of an attempted robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the unknown suspect approached the victim while he was inside of his parked vehicle. The suspect displayed a firearm, knocked on the window of the vehicle, and demanded the victim's wallet. The victim was able to drive away from the suspect and contact police. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival and a search of the area returned with negative results. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-25 years old, approximately 5'9"-5'10", wearing a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
