REPORTS


BRANDISHING, 2020-06210130, 4100 block of Campbell Avenue. At approximately 6:03 p.m. on June 21, police were dispatched to the report of a brandishing. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was driving in the area of 31st Street S. and S. Abingdon Street when he was allegedly cut off by the suspect. The suspect then waved the victim in front of him and began following him. When the victim parked, the suspect pulled alongside his vehicle and a verbal dispute ensued, during which the suspect brandished a firearm. The suspect fled in his vehicle prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a black male, with chest length dreadlocks with lighter brown tips, wearing a white or grey shirt. The vehicle is described as a newer model Acura sedan. The investigation is ongoing.

BRANDISHING, 2020-06200032, 4100 block of 3rd Road N. At approximately 1:26 a.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the report of person with a gun. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside his residence when the unknown suspect allegedly gained entry and brandished a firearm. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06190182, 800 block of N. Lincoln Street. At approximately 9:16 p.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim returned home and observed an unknown suspect insider her residence. The suspect fled the scene when the victim advised she was calling police. While on scene investigating, police received a call for a suspicious person matching the suspect's description in the backyard of a home in the 600 block of N. Kenmore Street. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. The suspect was arrested and charged with Drunk in Public and held until sober. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06200162, 800 block of N. Kenmore Street. At approximately 6:50 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect gained entry to the backyard of a residence and stole two bicycles. The suspect is described as a mixed race male with a slim build, bald, wearing a white t-shirt. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2020-06200183, 5500 block of 11th Street N. At approximately 8:30 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that between 7:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a residence, tampered with items and stole items of value. There is no suspect(s) description The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2020-06200163, 800 block of N. Randolph Street. At approximately 6:49 p.m. on June 20, police were dispatched to report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:33 a.m. on June 20, an unknown suspect gained entry to a residence and stole numerous items of value. The suspect is described as a tall, thin male, unknown race, wearing jeans, white sneakers and a light colored long sleeve shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
