REPORTS

AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2021-08140206, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 7:33 p.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the report of a stabbing inside a restaurant. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim suffering from a laceration and the suspect being held down by witnesses. The investigation revealed that while the victim was sitting at the bar, the suspect allegedly approached him from behind and began repeatedly striking the victim with a sharp object. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Patrick Casey, 34, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding. He was held on no bond.

ROBBERY (late), 2021-08140157, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 3:44 p.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Officers made contact with the victim who stated that on August 13, she determined her personal items, wallet, and cell phone had been stolen the previous night. The victim later located fraudulent charges on her credit cards. The exact location of the incident could not be determined. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2021-08130232, 600 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:52 p.m. on August 13, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 2:53 a.m., the unknown male suspect forced entry into the business and stole merchandise. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6'2" tall and 160 pounds, wearing a tan hoodie, dark blue jeans, black and white sneakers, a green face mask and carrying a drawstring bag. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2021-08140095, 800 block of N. Randolph Street. At approximately 10:46 a.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that the between 10:00 p.m. on August 13 and 10:00 a.m. on August 14, the unknown suspect(s) entered into the occupied residence and stole credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim's wallet. The victim later determined there were fraudulent charges on his credit cards. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-08140096, 600 block of 15th Street S. At approximately 10:50 a.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the report of an unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims' arrived at the vacant residence and noticed that the deadbolt had been engaged when they attempted to enter through the front door. The victims' walked around the back of the residence and observed the unknown male suspect near the back door, who fled the scene on a bicycle upon seeing them. Arriving officers conducted a search of the residence and surrounding area with negative results, but located food items in the kitchen that did not belong to the victims. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5'8" to 6'2" tall, 175 pounds with a lean build, wearing black shorts. The investigation is ongoing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-08140014, 500 block of N. Piedmont Street. At approximately 1:11 a.m. on August 14, police were dispatched to the report of an unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims were awoken to the unknown male suspect who had gained entry to the residence. He fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'6" to 5'9" tall, 130 to 140 pounds wearing a white hat, white shirt and dark pants. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY FROM AUTO (series), 2021-08130066/08130067/08130078/08130083, 4400 block of N. Pershing Drive/5700 block of 11th Street N./700 block of N. Kensington Street/5600 block of 5th Street N. At approximately 6:54 a.m. on August 13, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny from auto. The investigation revealed that in total, seven victim vehicles were found to have been forcibly entered into and had their air bags stolen. Additionally, tools were stolen from one of the vehicles. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.
