REPORTS
GRAND LARCENY AUTO/LARCENY FROM AUTO/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (Significant) (Late), 2021-12060069, 4000 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 9:31 a.m. on December 6, police were dispatched to the late report of multiple stolen vehicles. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately 11:53 p.m. on December 5 and 3:17 a.m. on December 6, the two unknown suspects entered into the parking lot of the business, smashed the windows of two vehicles, stole the airbags from five vehicles, and stole four additional vehicles that were unlocked with the keys inside. The stolen vehicles are described as: 2020 Honda Accord bearing D.C. license plate GK0654, 2017 Honda Civic bearing VA license plate UHJ8213, 2018 Ford F150 XLT bearing WV license plate 2UG414, 2010 Toyota Corolla bearing VA license plate UNB7985. Suspect One is described as a male, approximately 5’11” to 6’0” with a larger build, wearing a dark hoodie and light colored pants. There is no description for Suspect Two. The investigation is ongoing.
SEX OFFENSE, 2021-12070020, 4200 block of 31st Street S. At approximately 2:57 a.m. on December 7, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. The investigation determined that the known suspect sexually assaulted the known victim. Officers located the suspect in the area and he fled on foot. A perimeter was established and the area was searched with the assistance of the United States Park Police helicopter. The suspect was not located and the investigation is ongoing.
