REPORTS
ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2021-06210011, 800 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 1:10 a.m. on June 21, police were dispatched to the report of trouble unknown. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male victim observed the two suspects allegedly loading items in a box into his vehicle and went outside to confront them. The victim threw the box on the ground at which point Suspect One began chasing the victim with a knife that had come from the box. The suspects then fled the scene in a U-Haul van. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a Black Hispanic male in his early 30's with a skinny build and short hair. He was wearing a short sleeve gray shirt, blue jeans and had tattoos on both arms. Suspect Two is described as a Black female, approximately 19 years old and 6'1" tall. The investigation is ongoing.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2021-06210134, 5300 block of 8
th Road S. On June 20, an officer reviewing an online report determined that the incident was a late attempted burglary. Upon making contact with the victim, it was determined that on June 17, the unknown male suspect attempted to gain entry into the occupied residence through a window before leaving the area. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5'8" tall with a buzz cut and thick black glasses. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, jeans and all black sneakers at the time of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
