REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2021-03190210, S. Glebe Road at S. Meade Street. At approximately 10:08 p.m. on March 19, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined that approximately 20-30 minutes prior, the known suspect engaged the victim in a verbal dispute over a missing cell phone. During the dispute, the suspect assaulted the victim with a wooden object. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male. The investigation is ongoing.

MALICIOUS WOUNDING BY CAUSTIC SUBSTANCE, 2021-03210160, 300 block of 23^rd Street S. At approximately 8:18 p.m. on March 21, police were dispatched to the report of a fight. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside a restaurant when she was assaulted by the female suspect. During the assault, the victim deployed pepper spray. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle prior to police arrival. While conducting the investigation into the fight, a individual associated with the suspect reported their vehicle's tire had been slashed. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2021-03200158, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 6:35 p.m. on March 20, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 5:07 p.m. the two suspects purchased items from a retail store and returned at approximately 6:00 p.m. to return the items previously purchased. A dispute ensued over the return during which Suspect One attempted unsuccessfully to reach over the counter and remove cash from the register. Suspect One then brandished a firearm and demanded cash from an employee. The suspects then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Upon arrival, police canvased the area with negative results. No injuries were reported. Suspect One is described as a 25-30 year old Black male, light complexion, approximately 5'9" and 200 lbs. He was wearing a black ski mask, gray hoodie and distressed blue jeans. Suspect Two is described as a 25-30 year old Black male, dark complexion, with short dreads. He was wearing a black jacket and glasses. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2021-03200203, 1900 block of N. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 9:07 p.m. on March 20, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside his residence when he heard a knock at the door. When he went to answer it, the suspect entered the residence and physically pushed the victim back into a table. The victim was able to exit the residence and contact police. The victim was treated on scene by medics for minor injuries. Police canvassed the area and located a subject matching the description provided by the victim. Hunter Davis, 24, of Fredericksburg, VA, was arrested and charged with Burglary and Assault and Battery.
