REPORTS


ROBBERY (late), 2021-05240134, 3400 block of Columbia Pike. On May 24, an officer reviewing an online report determined that the incident was a robbery by force. The victim stated that at approximately 2:15 a.m. on May 16, she was walking in the area when the unknown male suspect approached her and attempted to engage in conversation. The suspect then grabbed her purse and attempted to forcibly take her phone out of her hands. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect, unable to remove the phone from the victim's hand, fled the scene on foot with the purse containing an undisclosed amount of cash and various personal items. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'6" — 5'9" tall with a darker complexion and short black hair. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2021-05250067, 1500 block of Clarendon Boulevard. On May 25, an officer reviewing an online report determined that the incident was an exposure. The reporting party stated that at approximately 11:15 p.m. on May 19, the unknown male suspect entered the residential building and began waiting in the lobby. A short while later, he was observed masturbating and advised that he needed to leave. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5'8" tall, 150 pounds with black hair. The investigation is ongoing.
