REPORTS
BRANDISHING (Late), 2022-04020223, 800 block of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 8:18 p.m. on April 2, an officer was approached by the victim for the late report of a brandishing. The victim stated that approximately 20 minutes prior, he was inside his vehicle attempting to pull into a parking garage when the unknown male suspect, who was walking in the area, lifted his shirt to reveal a firearm. The suspect then fled the area on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”, wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
GRAND LARCENY AUTO/VEHICLE TAMPERING (Significant) (Late), 2022-04030113, 5500 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 3, police were dispatched to the late report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., the unknown male suspect entered into the parking garage and stole the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle is described as a gray in color, 2020 Toyota Camry bearing VA license plate UDD9119. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that two additional vehicles were entered into and tampered with. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9” – 5’10”, 130 pounds, wearing a black sweatshirt, black hoodie, and face mask. The investigation is ongoing.
