REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2023-01190120, 2900 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 12:58 p.m. on January 19, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined two victims were in their parked vehicle when an unknown male suspect approached the vehicle, implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male, approximately 5’9, wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2023-01190168, 500 block of 14th Road S. At approximately 4:05 p.m. on January 19, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between December 26, 2022 and January 18, 2023 an unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and stole a firearm, electronics, cash and personal items. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY (late), 2023-01190180, 5100 block of 8th Road S. At approximately 5:11 p.m. on January 19, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined between approximately 3:50 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s home, rummaged through items and stole cash and electronics. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
