REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-04190155, 7^th Road S. at S. Florida Street. At approximately 3:09 p.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the juvenile victim was on a public transit bus when the two juvenile suspects approached him and demanded his sweatshirt. The victim refused and attempted to exit the bus during which the suspects allegedly pushed him, prevented him from leaving and made threatening statements towards him. The victim then removed the sweatshirt and ran off the bus. Medics responded and evaluated the victim on scene. Petitions were obtained for the two juvenile suspects for Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Abduction.

ROBBERY (late), 2023-04190104, 1600 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 11:28 a.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the late report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 7:30 a.m. on April 19, the suspect entered a business and began selecting merchandise. When an employee approached him, he allegedly made threatening statements before exiting the store without paying for the items. No injuries were reported. Officers obtained a warrant for the suspect and later located him and took him into custody. Ismail Offord, 32, of Upper Marlboro, Md. was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (late), 2023-04190068, 5800 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 9:33 a.m. on April 19, police were dispatched to the late report of an attempted breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:22 a.m., the victim observed the unknown suspect walking in his backyard. The suspect left the scene and did not gain entry to the residence. The suspect is described as a medium-build Black male, approximately 5’8”-5’10”, approximately 160-180 pounds, wearing a white sweatshirt and pants and black sandals. The investigation is ongoing.
