REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-04270211, 700 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 5:10 p.m. on April 27, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and exited without payment. A loss prevention officer confronted the suspect who allegedly made threatening statements and implied he had a weapon before dropping the stolen items and fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’3”-5’6”, approximately 30-40 years old, wearing a blue sweatshirt, green shorts, a black satchel and a face mask. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED GRAND LARCENY, 2023-04270287, 2000 block of S. Eads Street. At approximately 11:29 p.m. on April 27, police were dispatched to the report of a vehicle tampering. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness observed two juvenile suspects allegedly pulling on door handles and looking into parked vehicles. Responding officers located the suspects in the area and took them into custody without incident. A search of Suspect One’s belongings yielded tools consistent with auto theft. Petitions are pending for both juvenile suspects.
