REPORTS
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2023-06130005, 1900 block of N. Quinn Street. At approximately 11:59 p.m. on June 12, police were dispatched to the report of trespassing. Upon arrival, it was determined an unknown individual was inhabiting a room that was not paid for. While in the area, officers located the male suspect and it was determined he allegedly attempted to force entry into another room using a tool. He was taken into custody without incident and during a search of his person incident to arrest, suspected narcotics and paraphernalia, burglarious tools and stolen electronics, wallet and personal identification cards were located. Jamal Gardner, 32, of No Fixed Address was arrested and charged with Attempted Burglary, Possession of Burglarious Tools, Possession of Schedule I/II Narcotics and Possession of Stolen Goods (x2).
ROBBERY, 2023-06110222, 5100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 10:54 p.m. on June 12, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the two unknown male suspects entered the store and began concealing and collecting merchandise before Suspect One attempted to leave the store without payment. A store employee confronted the suspect who pushed the employee and left the business with Suspect Two. The suspects then entered a gray sedan and fled the scene. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male with a mustache, approximately 25-35 years old, 5’8”, wearing a black hat, jacket and pants. Suspect Two is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-35 years old, 5’8”, wearing a red hat and a white t-shirt. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2023-06090164, N. Thomas Street at Henderson Road. On June 9, an officer reviewing an online report determined the incident was an indecent exposure. The victim reported at approximately 10:58 a.m. on May 26, she was walking in the area when she observed the unknown male suspect expose himself. The suspect is described as a Black male with cornrow-style hair wearing a white hoodie and gray jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
