REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2023-03150118, 1000 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 12:11 p.m. on March 15, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined four individuals entered the store, during which Suspect One and Suspect Two each stole a jacket and left without paying. Loss Prevention Officers located the group in a parking garage and requested the merchandise back, which Suspect Two complied with. Suspect One then attempted to strike the Loss Prevention Officer and Suspect Two engaged in the physical assault before fleeing the scene on foot with the other members of the group. Minor injuries were reported from the incident. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 15-20 years old, 5’6”-5’8”, 160-180 pounds wearing a black jacket. Suspect Two is described as a Black female, approximately 15 years old, 5’4”-5’8”, approximately 200 pounds wearing a white jacket. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2023-03160013, 3200 block of S. Wakefield Street. At approximately 1:36 a.m. on March 16, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined the unknown suspect forced entry into the occupied residence, causing property damage to a door and subsequently fled the scene. Officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. No items were reported stolen. The suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male, approximately 5’10’-6’1” with long brown hair and facial hair wearing a puffy vest, long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 2023-03150226, 4700 block of 20th Road N. At approximately 8:25 p.m. on March 15 police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined the victim’s were inside their residence when an unknown individual forced the door to their home open. The suspect then fled the scene and did not make entry into the home. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY (late), 2023-03160002, 1200 block S. Hayes Street. At approximately 12:07 a.m. on March 16, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect knocked on the victim’s hotel door and upon him opening, she entered and stole his personal belongings and an undisclosed amount of cash. Security personnel confronted the suspect and recovered the victim’s property. The suspect is described as a Black female wearing a black puffy jacket, black leggings and white shoes with pink hair. The investigation is ongoing.
