REPORTS

BURGLARY, 2023-03280199, 900 block of N. Stuart Street. At approximately 6:57 p.m. on March 28, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the victim was asleep in his apartment when he awoke to the suspect allegedly rummaging through his bedroom. The victim yelled at the suspect fled the scene on foot with the victim’s backpack and alcohol. Responding officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody without incident. During a search of the suspect’s person incident to arrest, credit cards and other personal belongings of the victim were located. Isaiah Jackson, 19, of Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with Credit Card Theft (x4) and Burglary.
