REPORTS
ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 2023-11070156, 1100 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 2:41 p.m. on November 7, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the female suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to exit the store without payment when she was confronted by loss prevention personnel. A verbal dispute ensued, during which the suspect struck the loss prevention personnel, discarded the merchandise and left the scene. The suspect is described as a Black female wearing a black shirt, jeans and pink shoes. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY FROM AUTO (Late) (Series), 2023-11070141/2023-11070151, 3800 block of 30th Road N./3800 block of 30th Street N. At approximately 1:56 p.m. on November 7, police were dispatched to the late report of a larceny. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:35 p.m., the unknown suspects shattered the window of the victim’s vehicle and stole credit cards, personal identification cards and an undisclosed amount of cash. During the course of the investigation, an additional larceny from auto was reported in the 3800 block of 30th Street N. in which the suspects shattered the window of the victim’s vehicle and stole personal items and a purse containing credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash. The preliminary investigation indicates the two unknown suspects approached the victim’s vehicles while driving a white SUV. The suspects are described as two Black males, one wearing a navy blue hoodie and the other wearing a face mask. The investigation is ongoing.
