MEDIA ALERT: Ballston Wetland Park Ribbon Cutting

The public and the media are invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Ballston Wetland Park project. 

The event concludes a year and a half of restoration to the Ballston Wetland Park to help slow down and filter stormwater runoff from the surrounding watershed. This was a high-priority project in the County’s Stormwater Management Program.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m.  

Where: On new boardwalk next to the pond, 4747 N Fairfax Dr., Arlington, VA 22201 (this event will be held outdoors)

  • By bus: ART 41, 42, 52, 72; Metrobus 2A, 23AT, 38B
  • By bike: Custis trail; Bluemont Junction Trail; nearby Capital Bikeshare available
  • By metro: Ballston – MU
  • By personal vehicle: No parking is available onsite. Nearby parking available at Ballston Quarter Mall.
