REPORTS

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2024-12120003, 2100 block of Richmond Highway. At approximately 12:42 a.m. on December 12, police were dispatched to the report of public intoxication. Upon arrival, an officer observed the male suspect exposing himself inside a common area of a residential building and took him into custody. Gabriel Cruz, 26, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure and Public Intoxication.   

SHOTS FIRED, 2024-12130019, 2900 block of S. Randolph Street. At approximately 2:35 a.m. on December 13, officers were on a separate call for service when they heard shots fired in the area. Officers conducted a canvass of the area and recovered evidence confirming several shots had been fired in a parking garage in the 2900 block of S. Randolph Street. No injuries or property damage were reported. There are no suspect description(s). The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2024-12120017, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 6:31 a.m. on December 12, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female suspect entered the business and concealed merchandise. An employee told the suspect to leave and she subsequently went behind the counter, assaulted an employee, stole cigarettes and alcohol and fled the scene. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast, and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a heavy-set Black female, wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, pink sandals and carrying a black bag. The investigation is ongoing.
