REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-07300123, 2800 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 2:03 p.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that a witness notified a store employee that two suspects were stealing merchandise. A second employee located the suspects in the store who then began to yell at the employee before one suspect attempted to strike the employee. The employee then left the area to call police during which the suspects collected merchandise and exited the business without payment. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a Black male, approximately 18-21 years of age, with a tall/skinny build wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect Two is described as an unknown gender, approximately 18-21 years of age, tall/skinny build wearing a gray t-shirt and blue pants. The investigation is ongoing.

ROBBERY, 2024-07300219, 4700 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 9:26 p.m. on July 30, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the male suspect entered the business, requested to buy merchandise and became aggressive with an employee after his payment declined. The suspect then yelled at the employee before jumping over the counter, stealing the merchandise and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30-40 years of age, wearing a black shirt, black jacket, black pants and white shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY, 2024-07310009, 4100 block of 3rd Road N. At approximately 1:24 a.m. on July 31, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim was inside her residence when she heard a noise and upon further investigation, observed the male suspect, who is known to her, forcing entry into the home. The suspect briefly made entry into the residence before the victim called out to another occupant of the home, causing the suspect to flee the scene on foot. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The investigation is ongoing.
