REPORTS
ATTEMPTED AGGRAVTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2024-04300224, 900 block of S. Dinwiddie Street. At approximately 5:58 p.m. on April 30, police were dispatched to the report of a dispute. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was inside his residence when he heard noise and observed the female suspect, who is known to him, allegedly attempting to enter through a window. The victim confronted the suspect during which a struggle ensued and the suspect struck the victim with a rock, brandished a knife and attempted to strike him with it. The victim briefly left to seek assistance and the suspect made entry into the home, took electronics and food items before leaving the residence. Responding officers located the suspect in the area and took her into custody. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Janae Lancaster, 24, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Attempted Aggravated Malicious Wounding, Assault and Battery and Burglary. She was held without bond.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2024-04300008, 4200 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 1:02 a.m. on April 30, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was walking in the area when the unknown male suspect approached him from behind and struck him with an unknown object before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. A perimeter was established and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as an unknown race male with black hair, wearing all dark clothing. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2024-04290189, 2200 block of Columbia Pike. On April 29, police received an online report for a late indecent exposure. It was determined at approximately 2:50 p.m. on April 28, a witness was in the area when they observed the male suspect expose himself. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT EXPOSURE (late), 2024-04300204, 2000 block of N. Quinn Street. On April 30, police received an online report for a late indecent exposure. It was determined at approximately 3:10 p.m. on April 21, the male victim was in the area when he observed the male suspect expose himself. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 50’s, approximately 200 pounds. The investigation is ongoing.
