REPORTS
SHOTS FIRED, 2024-09300184, Arlington Boulevard at N. George Mason Drive. At approximately 8:18 p.m. on September 30, police were dispatched to the report of a possible shooting. During the course of the investigation, responding officers recovered evidence confirming shots had been fired in the area of Arlington Boulevard and N. George Mason Drive. No injuries or property damage related to the shooting were reported. The preliminary investigation indicates a dispute between drivers preceded the shooting and the suspect fled the scene in a blue sports car. The investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY, 2024-09300027, 5100 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 3:02 a.m. on September 30, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined four male suspects forced entry into the closed business by smashing a glass window and stole merchandise before fleeing the scene. Responding officers established a perimeter and conducted a search of the business and surrounding area for the suspects yielding negative results. The suspects are described as thin-build, unknown race juvenile males, approximately 15-17 years old wearing ski masks. The investigation is ongoing.
