REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2024-10010002, 3100 block of Langston Boulevard. At approximately 12:06 a.m. on October 1, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the three male suspects entered the business, collected merchandise and left the store with the stolen items. The suspects then reentered the business and an employee confronted them. One suspect made threatening statements towards the employee and another struck the employee as they fled from the business. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a juvenile Black male, approximately 14-17 years old wearing a black hoodie, gray pants and gray shoes. Suspect Two is described as a juvenile Black male, approximately 14-17 years old wearing a black hoodie, black pants and sneakers. Suspect Three is described as a juvenile Black male, approximately 14-17 years old wearing a tan hoodie, gray pants, sneakers and a black ski mask. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2024-10010028, 2700 block of S. Glebe Road. At approximately 6:46 a.m. on October 1, police were dispatched to the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:33 a.m. the suspect vehicle, described as a black sedan, entered the business’ parking lot. Two suspects exited the vehicle and forced entry into the business, causing property damage. Once inside the business, the suspects attempted to force entry into a secured room and tampered with an ATM before fleeing the scene in the suspect vehicle driven by the third suspect. The suspects are described as three Black males, approximately 20-30 years of age, slim builds, approximately 5’10”-6’0” tall and wearing all black clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLARY (late), 2024-10010038, 2400 block of N. Harrison Street. At approximately 8:05 a.m. on October 1, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:30 a.m., the male suspect forced entry into the business by shattering a glass door, rummaged through the interior, stole merchandise and fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as an unknown race male wearing a brown sweatshirt, black pants, light colored shoes and a face covering. The investigation is ongoing.  

BURGLARY (late), 2024-10010052, 500 block of N. Quincy Street. At approximately 9:11 a.m. on October 1, police were dispatched to the late report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined at approximately 1:18 a.m., two male suspects forced entry into the business by shattering a glass door, rummaged through the interior, forced entry into a secured room and stole electronics before fleeing the scene. The suspects are described as two Black males wearing all black clothing and face coverings. The investigation is ongoing.
