REPORTS

MALICIOUS WOUNDING, 2024-09040207, 1300 block of N. Pierce Street. At approximately 10:12 p.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the report of an assault with injury. Upon arrival, it was determined the two male suspects, who are known to each other, were inside a residence when they became involved in a verbal dispute. Suspect One allegedly punched and pushed Suspect Two, causing him to fall. Suspect Two then grabbed a baton and struck Suspect One. Responding officers located the suspects on scene and took them into custody. Both suspects sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital. Jack Saunders, 59, of Arlington, Va. and Richard Ferguson, 57, of Arlington, Va. were arrested and each charged with Malicious Wounding. Both suspects were held without bond.

RECOVERED STOLEN AUTO, 2024-08310059, 13th Street N. at N. Courthouse Road. At approximately 8:04 a.m. on August 31, patrol officers located a parked, unoccupied stolen vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was also linked to an armed robbery in another jurisdiction. Six subjects, four adults and two juveniles, approached the vehicle and were subsequently detained. A stolen firearm was recovered from one of the individuals. Juma Adams, 20, of Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Concealed Weapon, and Altering the Serial Number of a Firearm. Jacori Williams, 20, of Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. A juvenile was charged with Possession of Marijuana.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2024-09050003, 3100 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 11:09 p.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined a witness observed the male suspect inside of a business exposing himself. When the suspect was confronted, he ran from the scene. The suspect is described as a Black male. The investigation is ongoing.

GRAND LARCENY AUTO/ATTEMPTED LARCENY FROM AUTO (Late)(Series), 2024-09040031/2024-09040066, 4200 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive/3800 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 7:14 a.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the 4200 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive for the report of a stolen vehicle. It was determined between approximately 8:15 p.m. on September 3 and 7:10 a.m. on September 4, the suspect(s) forced entry into the victim’s parked, unoccupied vehicle and stole it. There is no suspect description(s). The stolen vehicle is described as a black 2022 Hyundai Sonata with Virginia tag TKE8529. At approximately 10:56 a.m. on September 4, police were dispatched to the 3800 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive for the report of destruction of property. It was determined at approximately 1:20 a.m. on September 4, a male suspect was on foot in the area when he rummaged through the interior of one vehicle and forced entry into two additional vehicles before entering a black sedan driven by another suspect and leaving the scene. The suspect is described as a thin-build Black male wearing a white shirt and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
