Holiday Schedule: Christmas Day 2024

Arlington County Government offices and services are operating on modified schedules for the Christmas holiday, Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024. View the full schedule.

Recycling/Trash/Organics Curbside Routes - No collection on Christmas Day. Regular Wednesday routes run on Thursday, Dec. 26; regular Thursday routes run on Friday, Dec. 27; regular Friday routes run Saturday, Dec. 28. The same shift of a day will take place with the New Year's holiday.

Special Collections (Brush, Metal, E-Waste) - No collection on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Household Hazardous Materials/Electronics Collection Recycling Center - Closed Dec. 24-25; Dec. 28, Jan. 1. No weekday drop-offs from Dec. 23-Jan.1 (resuming Jan. 2).

Earth Products Yard - Closed Dec. 24-25; Jan. 1
