MEDIA ADVISORY: County Manager Briefing on Proposed FY 2025 Budget

Arlington County Manager Mark Schwartz will virtually brief reporters on his Proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Budget on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024.
The Manager will present his proposed budget to the County Board during the Regular Meeting on Saturday, Feb. 24. The meeting will be live-streamed online and on Arlington TV, the County's cable channel, with live captioning on Comcast 25 & 1085 (HD) and Verizon FiOS 39 & 40.
During the briefing on Monday, the Manager will answer questions from media and provide additional information.

Arlington’s annual operating budget outlines spending on County programs, services and administration for the coming fiscal year, which begins July 1. The County Manger and County Board are committed to engaging the Arlington community to approve a budget that reflects the Board’s guidance to the Manager approved in December 2023.
A public hearing on the budget and associated tax rates will be held at the Tuesday recessed meeting on February 27, 2024.
