CANCELED: County Spring E-CARE 2025 Scheduled for Saturday, March 15

Published on March 07, 2025

Due to expected heavy turnout at Wakefield High School for an Arlington Public Schools job fair for federal workers on Saturday, March 15, the County’s Solid Waste Bureau is canceling its Spring E-CARE 2025 cleanup and drop-off disposal event set for the same time in the parking lot.

The bureau apologizes for the inconvenience and will work to reschedule Spring E-CARE, possibly for June. Updates will be posted on the County website, social media and through other communications channels. The bureau greatly appreciates the patience and understanding of residents.

The County offers a variety of ways to safely dispose of old electronics, metal and appliances year-round. Household hazardous materials like old paint, oil and fertilizer can be dropped off at Arlington’s HHM facility on 31st Street South most weekdays with an appointment and on Saturdays with no appointment needed. The full, extensive list of accepted (and unaccepted) items is available at www.arlingtonva.us/E-CARE
