BURGLARY (late), 2025-04240117, 1000 block of S. Hayes Street. At approximately 11:25 a.m. on April 24, police were dispatched to the late report of a breaking and entering. It was determined at approximately 9:49 a.m. on April 24, the male suspect gained entry to a business, concealed merchandise and exited the store without payment. The suspect is described as a tall Black male, approximately 20-30 years old, 6’0”-6’5”, 170-190 pounds, wearing all black clothing and a black backpack. The investigation is ongoing.
