REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2025-02170158, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. At approximately 5:17 p.m. on February 17, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business and concealed merchandise during which an employee confronted him. The suspect then became disorderly, threw items and attempted to grab the employee before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the suspect in the area and took him into custody. During the course of the investigation, the stolen merchandise was recovered. Jiver Lux Lopez, 34, of Arlington, Va. was arrested and charged with Robbery. He was held without bond.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2025-02170161, 800 block of S. Frederick Street. At approximately 5:33 p.m. on February 17, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim was in his residence when he observed the male suspect inside his home and confronted him. The suspect subsequently left the residence and fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20-30 years old, wearing a green puffy jacket, black pants, white sneakers and a black hat. The investigation is ongoing.
