REPORTS

ROBBERY, 2025-01090046, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 10:34 a.m. on January 9, police were dispatched to the report of an assault just occurred. Upon arrival,  it was determined the male suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise and attempted to exit without payment when he was confronted by an employee. The suspect then struck the employee before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 50 years old, 5’10” wearing a black jacket, dark pants and a black beanie carrying a black duffel bag and a blue bag. The investigation is ongoing.
