REPORTS
INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2025-01230141, 4900 block of Columbia Pike. At approximately 3:11 p.m. on January 23, police were dispatched to the late report of an assault. Upon arrival, it was determined approximately 10 minutes prior, the female victim was inside a stairwell of a residential building when the male suspect, who was delivering packages in the building at the time of the incident, entered, approached her and allegedly touched her inappropriately before exposing himself. The suspect subsequently exited the building and fled the scene in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. A lookout was broadcast and responding officers located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Four Mile Run Drive and Columbia Pike and subsequently took the suspect into custody. Lionel Alston, 21, of Upper Marlboro, Md. was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure, Assault and Battery and Public Masturbation. He was held without bond.
ROBBERY, 2025-01230106, 3400 block of Washington Boulevard. At approximately 12:30 p.m. on January 23, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined Suspect One entered the business, concealed merchandise in a backpack and attempted to exit without payment when he was confronted by an employee. A struggle ensued over the backpack that continued outside the business during which Suspect Two approached. The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the backpack. The employee sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention on scene. Responding officers canvassed the area for the suspects yielding negative results. Suspect One is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6”-5’7”, 20-30 years old with black hair wearing all black clothing. Suspect Two is described as a Black male, approximately 5’7”-5’9” wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The investigation is ongoing.
