Swearing-in of Julius “JD” Spain, Sr., December 14th, 2024

The Arlington County Board Office invites the public to attend the swearing-in of Julius “JD” Spain, Sr. as a member of the Arlington County Board on Saturday, December 14. The swearing-in will begin at 4PM with a reception to follow. This will be held at the County Board room on the 3^rd floor of the Bozman Government Center, 2100 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, 22201.

Spain Sr. was elected in the 2024 November County Board General Election, the first General Election in Arlington’s history to use Ranked Choice Voting. He will officially begin his term on January 1, 2025, filling the seat of Chair Libby Garvey after she concludes her term at the end of this year.
